Now, check this out, Travis.
In the aftermath of Wrestlemania 6 when Warrior beat Hogan for the WWF Title, he gave up the Intercontinental Title, and the belt was determined in the first ever 3-way dance in WWF History. The 3 names were decided to contend for the gold.
Rick Martel vs. Tito Santana vs. Shane Douglas
The "arrogance" of The Model against the "fire" of Tito Santana, who held that title before, and also, the "determination" of the brand new youngster in town. Here we go....
Tito Santana vs. Rick Martel vs. Shane Douglas
Martel managed to eliminate Santana, early by cheating, as usual. Then, it was down to Shane Douglas against The Model. Things looked rather bleak for Shane in the middle of this title match. But, Martel let his arrogance get the best of him as he tried a high-risk move from the top turnbuckle, which allowed Shane Douglas to catch him off gaurd with a Belly To Belly Suplex off the top turnbuckle and score the pinfall victory as well as the championship gold.
Winner:and NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion, Shane Douglas.
And a few notes, here......
Instead of pairing him up with Hercules, I'll keep Paul Roma as a c*ocky singles heel wrestler, and have him be one of Shane's title contenders. Also, "Flyin'" Brian Pillman will be coming into the WWF, soon. I bought out his contract from Ted Turner, recently. This should be good.
