E-fed Wars are on. WWE has SD and Raw Television. TNA has Explosion and Impact. This round I'm working with the WWE roster. Here's Raw Results for Week 1:
Horsemen Speak
The 4 members of Four Hosemen are backstage. Bret Hart was the person in question, as they threatened him like he stole their lunch money. Twice. (89%)
Motor City Machine Guns vs John Cena and Chris Jericho.
Match Background: Shelley and Sabin are teaming up as Motor City Machine Guns for the first time tonight.
The Match: Massive backbreaker on Sabin and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. Tag between Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. BAAACK Body drop by Shelley gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Tag to Chris Jericho. Spear by Chris Jericho. Tag between Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. Nice piledriver on Sabin. Diamond Dust from Chris Jericho and Sabin is out! Jericho whips Sabin into the turnbuckles...and the ref is crushed! Chris Sabin knocks Jericho to the outside, then signals for the Future Shock. He reaches out of the ring for Chris Jericho...and gets clobbered with the ring bell! Right to the head! The referee wakes up to see Jericho sliding in and making the pinfall: 1....2....3! Forget about it. Rock \ Shane come running down into the ring. They nail Alex Shelley from behind, then grab Sabin and hit the Spike Powerbomb! With him out of the way, the drag Alex Shelley to the outside...and promptly put him straight through the announcer's table with a double slam! Rock \ Shane have destroyed Motor City Machine Guns! AJ Styles vs CM Punk.
Match Background: None.
The Match: Styles crushes Punk with a huge legdrop. Back heel kick off the second rope, Punk goes down. Tor-NADO DDT from AJ Styles, Punk got planted! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Second rope flying axe handle, Punk goes down. One day, Styles might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Hooks the leg for a two count. CM Punk elbows AJ Styles in the face to break a hammerlock. Second rope flying axe handle, Styles goes down. One day, Punk might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Vicious back suplex! AJ Styles got nailed big time! Punk charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Lightning kick by Styles on Punk. The two competitors end up fighting to the outside of the ring. The referee tells them to bring it back in, but neither of them are listening. The ref tries again, and again they keep brawling. The referee completes a ten count, ending the match in a double count out! CM Punk offers a handshake to Styles...but he spits at CM Punk and walks off! (80%)
Bret Confronts Horsemen
Four Hosemen are in the ring, when Bret Hart comes out. He challenges The Rock to a match. He refuses, and says that before Bret Hart can get his match, he must prove that he is good enough by defeating The Rock in a match. If he can win, then The Rock says he will consider accepting the challenge. (93%)
Owen & Bulldog vs Goldust and La Parka.
Match Background: Bulldog and Owen are teaming up as Owen &
Bulldog for the first time tonight.
The Match: Weak-ass knife-edge chop from Owen in the corner. Sting would have NO problem no-selling that. Chop by Owen on Parka gets a WOO! from the crowd and rightfully so. Covers for a quick two count. Owen tags out to British Bulldog. Owen & Bulldog whip Parka into the corner. Owen Hart whips British Bulldog in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. There's a two count on the pin. British Bulldog attacks with some poorly executed flying moves. This kid sure ain't Rey Jr. Bulldog goes for a splash but Parka puts the knees up. La Parka scores with a poor face jam on British Bulldog. There's a two count on the pin. Tag to Goldust. Nice piledriver on Bulldog. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Goldust with a spinning neckbreaker on Bulldog. Goldust walks into a drop toe hold. A powerslam so weak, my grandmother could have performed it, is actually pulled off by Bulldog on Goldust. Bulldog tags out to Owen Hart. Some pretty weak shots by Owen. Goldust tags out to La Parka. Thrust kick from Owen is sold like death, although it clearly missed. That just hurts a match, really. Rock \ Shane come running down the aisle and into the ring! Parka turns...and is dropped with a double DDT! Parka in big trouble. La Parka is stunned as Owen heads to the top rope. Missle Dropkick!!! 1....2....3!! It's all over. Rock \ Shane are still in the ring. They signal for the Super Bomb! Their music hits, and out come Hart Foundation to make the save! They march down aisle. Rock \ Shane want no part of them, and quickly leave through the crowd. Hart Foundation stopped Rock \ Shane from continuing their assault. (48%)
Mike Awesome vs Shane Douglas vs Steve Corino.
Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout.
The Match: Wack kick from Douglas. Mike Awesome smashes a Playstation console over the head of Douglas. Should have used an X-Box, they're much bigger. Mike Awesome misses a clothesline. Doctor Bomb connects and Awesome landed hard. Spear by Steve Corino. There's a two count on the pin. Awesome DDTs Steve Corino. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Steve Corino avoids a Mike Awesome avalanche by getting out of the d**n way! Face-first suplex onto a trash can by Corino! Flapjack from Douglas on Corino. Shane Douglas grapples with Steve Corino, and positions himself so that the referee can't see...and hits a low blow! He rolls up the stunned Steve Corino: 1....2....3!! What a cheap shot! (60%)
Bret Wants Rock in A Match
Bret Hart is backstage. He was on Hype Central (HYPE CENTRAL!!!) tonight, this time for a match with The Rock. Can you believe that I just marked out for Lance Wright? How many people even remember that guy? (79%)
Francine and Beth Pheonix vs Lita and Melina.
Match Background: None.
The Match: The Glamaz uses a neckbreaker on Melina. The Glamaz hits a wheel kick on Melina. There's a two count on the pin. Tag between Beth Pheonix and Francine. The Glamaz \ Francine whip Melina into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Hooks the leg for a two count. Francine attacks with some poorly executed flying moves. This kid sure ain't Rey Jr. Francine misses a clothesline. Melina crushes Francine with a huge legdrop. There's a two count on the pin. Melina tags out to Lita. Back heel kick from Lita on Francine. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Francine takes a knee lift from Lita. *sigh* Running knee lifts always remind me of the late Curt Hennig. Lita charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Kick to the gut from Francine, who sadly, was even able to botch THAT. Francine tags out to Beth Pheonix. Beth Pheonix hits some weak-looking punches in the corner, but Lita is able to block them and return the favor in spades. Tag to Melina. Boring brawling from Beth Pheonix is the cure for insomnia. Melina is in trouble. Human Sacrifice! 1....2....3. I don't think the fight has finished. Francine \ The Glamaz and Lita \ Melina have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view. (35%)
Horsemen Strike First
Jim Neidhart is in the ring, when Shane McMahon walks out onto the stage. They argue, and the distraction Shane causes proves to be enough, as Anvil doesn't notice Jericho \ Cena coming out of the crowd until they are already within striking distance. He gets beaten down as Shane McMahon looks on from the stage. (75%)
10 Man Battle Royal.
Match Background: Kurt Angle is the reigning WWE King of The Ring champion.
The Match: Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Mikey Whipwreck by Orton. Remember when that was a legit finish? Mikey Whipwreck got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Orton. (Elimination # 1) Some pretty weak shots by Hogan. Hulk Hogan knocks Raven down to the canvas with a clothesline. Nash takes a headbutt from Raven. Kevin Nash got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Raven. (Elimination # 2) Tommy Dreamer connects with rights and lefts and Undertaker is down! Dreamer threw Undertaker over the top rope, but Undertaker skinned the cat to save himself! Raven connects with rights and lefts and Tommy Dreamer is down! Tommy Dreamer got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Raven. (Elimination # 3) Kurt Angle connects with a HARD right hand, sending the opponent down to the mat again. Raven got eliminated by Angle. (Elimination # 4) Undertaker strikes away at Hulk Hogan, not doing much damage at all. Undertaker scores with a crappy looking standing spinebuster. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Randy Orton connects with rights and lefts and Kurt Angle is down! Kurt Angle got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Orton. (Elimination # 5) BORING ass brawling from Hogan. Ron Killings got bundled out by Hogan. (Elimination # 6) Orton slams Hulk Hogan down and motions to the crowd. Hulk Hogan got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Orton. (Elimination # 7) Randy Orton connects with rights and lefts and Edge is down! Edge got tossed over the top rope to the floor HARD by Orton. (Elimination # 8) Randy Orton moves in for the kill. RKO!!! That shook the ring. Undertaker got bundled out by Orton. (70%)
Jim Neidhart vs The Rock.
Match Background: This match is for the WWE World Heavyweight title.
The Match: Rock hits a piledriver on Jim Neidhart. That used to end matches, you know. The Rock moves in for the kill. Rock Bottom!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! The Rock leaves the ring and heads off down the aisle at speed. Rock has the victory, and isn't hanging around for Jim Neidhart to look for revenge. (44%)
