~"The Franchise" Shane Douglas is seen looking over some recent footage in preparation for upcoming six man tag team match at Super Sunday this week. The film highlights some of the key moves, moments, and tactics in which the three members of Lethal Injection enjoy using. The small twenty inch television set sits on a three shelved A/V cart with the television on the top shelf followed by the DVD player on the second shelf. The room looks to be darkened slightly as if the lights were dimmed down making it hard to make out where he is. Douglas sits about five feet away from it with a remote in hand, a clipboard, and a pen. On the clipboard is a pad of paper with something scribbled on the page. Can't make out what it is, but it's assumed he's taking notes to share with his team before the upcoming match. Douglas is wearing a sleeveless black shirt and matching mesh shorts to go with his black Addidas ankle socks and Nike gym shoes.~
"You know, there comes a time in a man's life when needs to step back and take a good long look at himself in order to realize just exactly what's wrong.. And in this case one man has failed to realize this.. That man is the so called Icon of professional wrestling.. That man claims to be something in which he's not.. Sting you know what I'm talking about, hahaha! But I'm not going into that see that would be typical of me now wouldn't it? You sit alone playing and pretending to be a manic depressive cutter like all the drug loving teenagers out there who seem to think that your Brandon Lee knock off is kinda cool. Maybe it was twelve years ago but right now all it's getting you is the ass kicking in which you deserve. The ass kicking which is long long overdue. When it comes down to you and me, Stinger.. I simply have more going for me at this moment in time. See being the Franchise that I am, I have no problem in going back to the drawling board and sorting out my mistakes. I have no problem in looking at what I can do better while you on the other hand sulk in a world of bullsh*t and fantasy."
~Shane pauses the video as an image of Sting appears frozen in flight as he came from the top rope with a huge splash pending the doom for his opponent. As the camera pans to his left, Shane leans forward in his chair and sits the clipboard and remote down on the floor under his chair.~
"For the last six years I've done nothing more than lead federation after federation to the promise land. I took a little place called Xtreme Pro Wrestling and made it famous, now they're begging for scraps because I simply don't give a d**n about it anymore thanks to Eric Bischoff.. I took another little place called Total Non Stop Action Wrestling and took it to places it's never been but Jim Cornette couldn't handle the heat. So then Vince McMahon calls me up and tells me 'Shane, I'm buying TNA and accepting the XPW's past history as well. I need you to help me get WWE Franchise off the ground.' And in being the man that I am I sure as hell accepted because it was a lot better than what those other two jackasses were giving me. But I'm not going to put you to sleep with that either now am I? No what I'm going to do to you Sting is give you another personal lesson in what it's like to be a Franchise! You b*tch about Hall and Nash, don't worry about them because you've got a whole other problem to worry about. You've got a triple threat with myself, Kennedy, and Angle just looking to tear you apart. So why don't you bleed a little more for me on that Stinger?"
~A smirk runs across Shane's face while continues.~
"Ever since Brock Lesnar, yourself, Randy Orton, and the she-beast Chyna formed this like circle jerk faction you've been starving for attention. The Kings of Controversy have being pulling the strings since day one and who do you think it was the kicked it into gear and took it to the next level? Stinger, you and your friends are oh so foolish to thing that Scott Hall was acting alone in this.. The man who's stirred the pot around here since his arrival has always been and always will be me. I've made people who thought they were 'cool' disappear over the last two years. Ask D-Generation X, ask Mick Foley, ask Tommy Dreamer, ask New Jack.. You want to talk about craving national and global fame? You think we've got that problem? Keep telling yourself that.."
~Douglas folds his hands together and begins to crack his knuckles and stretch his arms and shoulders for a moment before picking back up his remote and clipboard. He places them down on his right leg and pins them down against it with his right arm.~
"Brock Lesnar, you and I became quite familiar with one another last week. Just like I said it wouldn't take much effort to defeat you because you simply lost your touch. You tried to take on a tried and true veteran in this sport. I made the Next Big Thing my Next Big b*tch! And I think that.. Better yet I know that next week won't be any different because I plan on doing it again, except this time.. It's going to be so much sweeter because your self proclaimed leader Randy Orton, "The Legend Killer", son of Bob Orton Junior is going to grace us with his presence. Oh hallelujah! What the f**k ever! Randy, you've been all talk and no walk these past few weeks. You've been chasing and chasing and chasing the World Championship and you've come up short time and time again! Lets face it Randal, you're not the man you used to be. You had Edge riding your coat tails to help defeat Ric Flair, now you've got three other has beens and look at you now.. Randy, I seriously thought that out of respect to your father I wouldn't do this but I for d**n sure will do it despite him.. I'm going to enjoy FRANCHISING your candy ass! Be ready because the Kings of Controversy are going to take you down right where you belong."
~Scene fades out as Shane resumes taking notes and studying the film.~
