WWF No Way Out, live on PPV!
The PPV begins with ring announcer, Howard Finkel getting ready to make the huge announcement. Jim Ross is sitting at the announce table all alone, because The Helmsleys gave The King the night off.
Fink:Ladies & Gentlemen, I've a very special announcement to make. It gives me great pleasure to announce that tonight's special guest color analyst that will join Jim Ross. It gives great pleasure to announce the return to the World Wrestling Federation, of a man who's name is legendary in the annals of World Wrestling Federation history. He is known as one of the greatest managers and minds in World Wrestling Federation History. He is known throughout the entire wrestling industry as a "Broadcast Journalist". Ladies & Gentlemen, please welcome back to the World Wrestling Federation, the one, the only, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!
With that said, a Johnny Carson remixed theme hits, and Bobby Heenan walks out onto WWF TV for the first time in nearly 7 years, and makes his way out to join JR at the announce table.
Jim Ross:Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm in total disbelief, here. Talk about someone that we'd never see again. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan is apparently back in the WWF, here at No Way Out. I was wondering why The King was given the night off. Well, Bobby, welcome back to the WWF.
Bobby Heenan arrives at the announce table.
Bobby Heenan:Thanks, Ross. But, the pleasure is all yours. You see, they say that 7 years makes a heck of a difference. But, right now, I gotta give out a big thank you to both Triple H & Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley for giving me a second chance with the WWF, after I decided to abandon ship from that Titanic in Atlanta, GA. But, that was then, Ross, and this is now. The Brain is back in the WWF today, and I'm ready to witness history, tonight.
Jim Ross:Well Brain, tonight, history will be made as Cactus Jack will put the career of Mick Foley on the line as he will take on "The Game" Triple H for the WWF Title inside the demonic structure known as Hell in a Cell.
Bobby Heenan:Well Ross, it's like this. They say that this is the most dangerous match in this sport, today. Hell hath no fury like The Game inside Hell in a Cell. All you humanoids and Ham 'N Eggers, get ready because you're all about to see Mick Foley, as nuts as he is, for the last time ever.
Jim Ross:Let's get down to the ring.
Quick Results!
Kurt Angle def. Chris Jericho to unify the European & Intercontinental Titles.
New Age Outlaws def. The Dudley Boyz to retain the WWF Tag Team Titles
Edge & Christian def. The Hardy Boyz to become #1 contenders for the WWF Tag Team Titles at Wrestlemania 16 with help from Terri, who turned on the Hardyz.
Mark Henry def. Viscera
X-Pac def. Kane in a Street Fight
The Radicalz def. Mean Street Posse
Tazz def. Big Bossman
The Rock vs. Big Show - winner goes to Wrestlemania!
After a back and forth battle between the two hated enemies, The Rock was able to overcome all odds and defeat the Big Show with the Rock Bottom & People's Elbow to advance on to Wrestlemania 16, once and for all.
Winner:The Rock!
Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship! Title vs. Career
Triple H (c) vs. Cactus Jack
This match was a much bigger war than their Street Fight at the Royal Rumble, last month. Much like their last battle, HHH defeated Cactus Jack inside the infamous Cell from Hell, and sent Mick Foley into retirement, forever.
Winner:and STILL WWF Champion, Triple H!
